Where is the product sourced?Â
A lot of pet parents want to make sure their pet is getting only the best, top of the line meats for their furry friend, and we agree! It is important to us that our meats come from local sources, so all of Momentum Carnivore Nutrition meats are raised and sourced in the United States specifically in WI, MN, SC, NC and GA.
Where is the product made?Â
We believe in creating and supporting USA-made products. We use our own fantastic manufacturing facility at Momentum Carnivore’s headquarters. This is where we process and freeze dry all of our treats, meal bars, and seasonings.Â
Is the product organic?Â
Here at Momentum Carnivore Nutrition, we pride ourselves on sourcing locally. All of our meats come from local farmers, some of which use organic practices and some of which do not. All of our meats are freeze dried raw and have the upmost quality, but we cannot market that our products are organic because of the variation in our farmers’ practices. Â
Is the product grass fed?
Our Buffalo Tripe Treats and Seasonings are 100% grass-fed and grass-finished. All of our other proteins that are sourced in the Midwest are grass-fed during the summer months and supplemented with grains during winter months.Â
How are the animals raised and treated?Â
We value all animals here at Momentum Carnivore Nutrition. We want the animals that we get our meat from to be treated as well as our pets. All of the animals we use are raised in humane conditions in cage free, open environments.Â
Are there any synthetic vitamins or preservatives added to your products?Â
Nope! All of our products are freeze dried raw with no additives or preservatives. The freeze drying process allows for natural preservation of the products by eliminating over 90% of the moisture. Therefore, we do not need to add any synthetic or artificial additives when making our products.Â
Do I have to refrigerate your products?
Simple answer, no. An unopened package of our treats or meal bars can be kept for up to 2 years. Once the package has been opened, we recommend feeding within 60 days for the best flavor. If you do want to keep it in the refrigerator, go for it! However, we recommend you feed the product within 5 to 7 days as the moisture will start to return while it is in the refrigerator, which can lead to spoiling after 7 days.Â
